In this hourly, remote contractor role, you will serve as the Architecture & Design Quality Assurance Lead, overseeing quality, consistency, and trainer performance across architecture, interior design, urban design, and built-environment AI training projects. Your responsibilities will include reviewing AI-generated architecture/design content and trainer/QA work, evaluating output quality against project guidelines, providing precise written feedback, and ensuring compliance with expected quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct quality monitoring by spot-checking architecture/design items, identifying quality issues, and providing ongoing feedback.
• Evaluate AI-generated architecture/design explanations, spatial layouts, design concepts, material recommendations, building-system descriptions, accessibility considerations, and design reasoning for accuracy and practicality.
• Communicate updates to trainers and QAs on Discord regarding new item guidelines, project changes, workflow updates, and quality expectations.
• Respond promptly to trainer/QA questions, especially concerning spatial logic, design terminology, accessibility, sustainability, and rubric interpretation.
• Manage activation of inactive contributors by encouraging engagement and tracking follow-ups.
• Create and maintain architecture/design project documentation, including style guides, trackers, FAQs, and onboarding materials.
• Schedule and conduct onboarding/training calls with trainers and QAs to explain project expectations and quality standards.
• Ensure consistent application of architecture/design review guidelines by all trainers and QAs.
• Identify and flag unsafe, inaccessible, or impractical architecture/design recommendations.
• Propose workflow improvements and help build scalable QA processes for architecture/design AI training projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or professional degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Urban Design, Landscape Architecture, Environmental Design, Industrial Design, Planning, or a closely related field.
• Strong command of the English language for effective communication and feedback.
• 3+ years of experience in architecture, design, interiors, urban design, or related workflows.
• Deep understanding of design principles, spatial organization, accessibility, sustainability, and construction logic.
• Ability to evaluate architecture/design content against detailed rubrics and identify practical issues.
• Familiarity with tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite is preferred.
• Experience leading or supporting remote teams is strongly preferred.
• Highly detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to maintain documentation and style guides.
• Experience with AI training, data annotation, or visual review is a strong plus.
