Telespazio BeNeLux boasts over 45 years of experience in Space Operations Service and Engineering. We significantly contribute to major Space programs for the European Space Agency, EUSPA, and other Telespazio Groups, working on the ground to facilitate ambitious missions. We are currently seeking a highly skilled AOCS Systems and Pointing Support Engineer to join our on-site team at ESTEC in the Netherlands. Candidates must be eligible for a security clearance from an EU Member State's national security administration.

You will be responsible for supporting the definition of AOCS requirements and contributing to the elaboration of System/Mission Requirements related to the AOCS domain. Your daily tasks will include:

• Supporting analyses and trade-offs for AOCS systems, software, and hardware units.
• Executing AOCS and Pointing performance analyses and performance budgeting.
• Monitoring industrial activities concerning design and development of AOCS systems for ESA projects.
• Reviewing project documentation related to AOCS and Pointing engineering.
• Developing and maintaining engineering support tools for AOCS and Pointing tasks.
• Assisting in the procurement of AOCS hardware units, including trade-off and requirements definition.
• Supporting the verification and validation process of AOCS systems throughout all project phases.
• Providing expertise in AOCS and Pointing disciplines to AIT and AIV processes and in-flight activities.
• Contributing to the definition, analysis, and verification of AOCS-level and system-level Fault Detection Isolation and Recovery (FDIR).
• Supporting R&D activities related to AOCS and Pointing technology development.
• Assisting in defining, initiating, and managing AOCS and Pointing R&D activities.
• Disseminating results and knowledge from AOCS and Pointing activities across the Agency.
• Supporting the execution of R&D activities for mission-enabling AOCS system concepts and advanced techniques.
• Supporting laboratory activities to evaluate and prototype new AOCS systems and functions.
• Assisting ongoing projects with design implementation, testing, and validation in the facility.
• Performing integration, functional, and performance testing of relevant hardware and software elements.
• Documenting test and validation activities and results, including equipment setup and configuration.
• Managing facility planning according to priorities set by the WP Technical Responsible Service provider.
• Supporting the definition and development of in-flight experiments to de-risk AOCS systems.
