The Role

As a Material Handler, you will perform essential storekeeper duties within maintenance bases and line operations, including:

• Receiving, issuing, provisioning, checking, classifying, inventorying, and storing supplies, equipment, parts, and materials.
• Opening, packaging, and sealing boxes and crates.
• Working in various weather conditions, including exposure to noise and fumes.
• Climbing, bending, and standing for extended periods while performing duties.
• Heavy lifting, pushing, and pulling during loading and unloading tasks.
• Fueling assigned vehicles and transporting parts and materials between locations.
• Sorting, counting items, and preparing labels and related documents.
• Reading and interpreting instructions to build kits for aircraft services.
• Maintaining a safe and orderly work area while adhering to operating procedures and regulations.
• Operating equipment such as forklifts, trucks, and electric carts, and using hand tools.
• Handling hazardous materials and waste as required.

United Airlines is committed to fair and gender-neutral pay. The starting salary for this role is €2,991.45, with placement based on experience, qualifications, and skills. This salary is based on full-time hours and will be pro-rated according to your contract terms.
