The Role

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Project Engineer to join our team in the Netherlands. In this role, you will oversee projects from the handover by the Sales Department to commissioning and final delivery to the customer. You will serve as a vital link between sales and aftersales, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects from sales handover to commissioning and customer delivery
• Develop project timelines, including milestones, key dates, and risk assessments
• Procure all required materials (in-house and external) in line with project timelines and budgets
• Ensure compliance with internal procedures and approved software systems
• Create 2D electrical and technical drawings, as well as full documentation packages
• Design fire and gas detection systems according to specifications
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
• Support training for colleagues and customers when required
• Contribute to continuous improvement and additional project-related tasks

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or related field) or at least 5 years of relevant experience
• Strong knowledge of electrical/electronic systems and diagnostic tools
• Familiarity with international and local maritime/shipping regulations and material standards
• Experience in a fast-paced technical environment
• Well-organized, proactive, and a strong team player
• Ability to make accurate decisions under pressure with a customer-focused mindset
• Commitment to safety with a proactive approach to risk prevention and workplace standards
• Valid driver’s license and work authorization for the Netherlands

  • Programming (Function Block Diagram, Structured Text)
