The Role

The Role

As a forklift driver at DHL Houten, your primary responsibilities will include loading, unloading, and relocating packages and pallets. You will ensure all incoming and outgoing shipments are sorted accurately and reach their destinations on time. Your efforts will be crucial in maintaining the smooth operation of the logistics process. This position involves working in a shift system, alternating between morning, afternoon, and night shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Load, unload, and transport packages and pallets using a forklift
  • Ensure an efficient and safe logistics process
  • Verify packages for accuracy and quality
  • Collaborate with colleagues and team leaders to maintain a smooth workflow
  • Adhere to safety and company regulations

Working Times

The operation runs in three shifts from Monday to Friday:

  • Morning: 07:30 - 16:00
  • Afternoon: 15:00 - 23:30
  • Night: 23:30 - 08:00

Requirements

  • Experience as a forklift driver with a valid certificate
  • Good command of the Dutch and/or English language
  • Physically fit and able to work under stress

What We Offer

  • Gross hourly wage of €15.25
  • Travel allowance of up to €9.30 per day
  • Extra pay of 130% for hours worked between 18:00 and 06:00
