The Role

The Cloud Platform Engineer will design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and reliable cloud infrastructure across AWS and GCP, supporting our applications, backend services, databases, and game/server platforms. This role ensures high availability and cost-efficiency, aligned with modern DevOps and platform engineering practices. The engineer will collaborate closely with backend and frontend teams to ensure reliable deployment and operation of distributed systems while adopting AI-powered engineering tools to enhance development speed and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure in AWS and GCP.
• Advise and support backend and frontend engineering teams in building scalable software.
• Collaborate with software engineers to enhance reliability and developer experience.

Requirements

• Advanced experience with AWS and GCP cloud platforms.
• Experience implementing cloud orchestration solutions.
• Proficient with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform preferred).
• Experience managing containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with backend services (Go, Java, Node.js).
• Understanding of frontend deployment environments (React, Next.js).
• Experience designing scalable distributed systems.
• Proficient with databases such as MongoDB, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.).
• Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or similar).
• Understanding of networking concepts (VPCs, load balancing, DNS, firewalls).
• Advanced Linux system administration skills.
• Strong understanding of platform architecture and security patterns.
• Knowledge of logging, monitoring, and alerting strategies.
• Awareness of IAM, secrets management (Vault preferred), encryption, and network segmentation.
• Understanding of FinOps principles and cloud cost optimization strategies.
• Ability to design platforms balancing performance, resilience, and security.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and intelligent automation agents.
