The Role

The Pipeline Engineering Department at Allseas plays a crucial role in supporting offshore pipelay campaigns, from proposal to execution and pre-commissioning. Our team comprises various disciplines, all working collaboratively to achieve project objectives.

The Role

As a Structural Engineer within the Pipeline Structural unit, you will focus on designing essential structures for pipelay projects. Your expertise will cover both permanent structures, such as PLETs, ILSs, and manifolds, and installation aids like heads and rollerguides.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and prepare project specifications for subsea pipeline structural components.
  • Review fabrication drawings and supervise subcontractors and equipment suppliers.
  • Develop equipment for subsea field development projects or installation vessels.
  • Prepare designs and calculations for all structural work within scope, budget, and schedule.
  • Identify risks related to strength, stability, safety, and class approval of vessels or equipment.
  • Perform analytical calculations and structural simulations using FEM analysis.
  • Prepare installation and inspection plans, discussing them with project teams and offshore personnel.
  • Liaise with project teams, subcontractors, clients, and certification authorities.
  • Opportunity to work as a Field Engineer on board vessels to provide installation support.

Requirements

  • BSc or MSc degree in Mechanical, Aerospace (preferably), or Civil Engineering.
  • 1 to 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong analytical skills and technical insight.
  • Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
  • Willingness to work offshore occasionally, depending on project needs.
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
