The Role

Als Software Test Engineer ben je verantwoordelijk voor het waarborgen van de kwaliteit en betrouwbaarheid van software binnen innovatieve producten en digitale platforms. Je zorgt ervoor dat de software op product- en systeemniveau goed functioneert en dat integraties met hardware, platforms en externe ecosystemen soepel verlopen. Je stelt teststrategieën en standaarden op en houdt toezicht op consistentie en kwaliteit over verschillende projecten.

Responsibilities

  • Ontwikkelen, automatiseren en uitvoeren van tests.
  • Analyseren van defecten en valideren van fixes en verbeteringen.
  • Adviseren van multidisciplinaire teams over testbaarheid, kwaliteitsverbetering en risicobeheersing.
  • Vertalen van complexe systeem- en productkenmerken naar concrete testoplossingen.
  • Bijdragen aan tooling, best practices en teststandaarden binnen het team.

Requirements

  • HBO- of WO-werk- en denkniveau in Software Engineering of een vergelijkbare richting.
  • Aantoonbare ervaring met testen van software in industriële of productgerichte omgevingen.
  • Kennis van testmethoden, QA-principes en software engineering.
  • Ervaring met embedded systemen en system testing.
  • Bekendheid met Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) tests, integratietesten en testautomatisering.
  • Sterke analytische en probleemoplossende vaardigheden.
  • Professionele beheersing van de Engelse taal.

  • Bruto jaarsalaris tussen €77.550 en €90.000, afhankelijk van kennis en ervaring.
