The Role

You will be responsible for transcribing video content with a focus on linguistic accuracy and cultural context, marking timestamps for precise reference, interpreting emotional undertones, analyzing grammatical structures, and delivering detailed communication to support various language-related tasks.

Responsibilities

• Transcribe video content with meticulous attention to linguistic accuracy and cultural context.
• Clearly mark and outline timestamps to ensure precise reference points within material.
• Describe and interpret the emotional undertones and intent of speakers.
• Analyze grammatical structures, vocabulary, and tone at a nuanced and complex level.
• Define conceptual aspects of words and phrases, capturing subtle distinctions in meaning.
• Deliver detailed written and verbal communication to support language-related tasks and projects.
• Collaborate with the client's team to ensure high-quality linguistic deliverables for a variety of use cases.

Requirements

• Native or near-native proficiency in both Breton and English, with exceptional written and verbal skills in both languages.
• Demonstrated experience in transcription, language analysis, or similar linguistic fields.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce precise, accurate work with minimal supervision.
• Deep understanding of and sensitivity to the cultural and emotional context of language.
• Ability to commit at least 15 hours per week to ongoing tasks.
• Excellent organizational skills, with a proven record of managing multiple assignments efficiently.
• Advanced analytical thinking and problem-solving skills applied to language tasks.
