The Role
We are seeking experienced buyers and purchasing professionals for a flexible, part-time opportunity with a leading foundational AI lab. This role involves training their latest language model on procurement and sourcing tasks.
The Role
As a Senior Buyer, you will leverage your expertise to manage complex supplier relationships and procurement processes, creating, evaluating, and refining AI-generated work across essential purchasing workflows.
Responsibilities
- Manage supplier evaluation and selection processes
- Oversee RFQ and contract negotiation
- Handle purchase order management
- Conduct cost analysis and inventory planning
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a buyer or purchasing agent at a top company
- Strong expertise in supplier management, contract negotiation, and cost analysis
- Excellent written communication skills and attention to detail
What We Offer
- Competitive compensation at $75/hour
- Flexible commitment of up to 20 hours per week (up to $1,500/week)
