The Role
We are seeking an AI Automation Engineer to design and develop production-grade AI systems utilizing modern large language models (LLMs). This role emphasizes AI-driven automation, AI agents, and tools that enhance developer productivity. You will work on systems that automate workflows, integrate LLMs into practical applications, and boost software development through AI. This is a hands-on engineering position focused on building and deploying AI systems rather than research.
Responsibilities
- Develop AI-driven automation systems for both internal tools and client solutions.
- Design and implement AI agents that interact with APIs, gather information, and execute workflows.
- Integrate LLMs into applications using retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), embeddings, and function calling.
- Create AI tools that enhance developer productivity, including testing, documentation, and code generation.
- Prototype new AI capabilities and rapidly convert them into functional systems.
Requirements
- Strong software engineering background, with proficiency in Python or TypeScript.
- Experience in building backend services and APIs.
- Practical experience with LLM APIs such as OpenAI and Anthropic.
- Familiarity with RAG, embeddings, or vector search technologies.
- Proven experience in developing automation workflows or AI-powered tools.
Nice to Have
- Experience in scaling AI agent systems in production settings.
- Knowledge of optimizing latency, throughput, cost, and handling high-request-per-second (RPS) AI workloads.
- Familiarity with orchestration frameworks like LangChain or LangGraph.
- Experience with vector databases and AI evaluation tools.
- Background in DevOps or cloud infrastructure.
- Experience integrating AI into SaaS platforms.
