In this role, you will ensure that outerwear styles progress seamlessly through the product lifecycle while maintaining quality, timing, and margins.

The Role

As our Outerwear Product Developer/Buyer, you will manage the development and production of assigned outerwear styles, ensuring they meet quality and delivery targets while aligning with commercial goals.

Responsibilities

• Oversee assigned outerwear styles from development to production.
• Assist with costing, price negotiations, and margin tracking.
• Collaborate with suppliers to meet timelines, quality standards, and delivery goals.
• Monitor the critical path and address operational challenges.
• Work closely with Design, Sourcing, and Logistics for smooth execution.
• Contribute to ongoing improvements in product quality, fit, and sustainability.

Requirements

• Several years of experience in product development and/or buying within the fashion industry.
• Strong technical knowledge of outerwear construction and materials.
• Commercial mindset with an understanding of costing and margin implications.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and production schedules.
• Hands-on, proactive, and solution-oriented work style.
• Solid experience in a commercially driven fashion environment.
