The Role
We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer with strong experience in development and MLOps to join BuzzTrail, an innovative AI sales companion that utilizes realistic video avatars for live product demonstrations. As a profitable early-stage company, you'll have the opportunity to design infrastructure from the ground up, impacting the platform's future as we scale to support hundreds of concurrent meetings.
The Role
You will be responsible for implementing technical controls for SOC 2 Type II certification, managing multi-cloud AI services, and developing ML data infrastructure. Your work will involve designing and optimizing our infrastructure strategy, including the use of Azure as our primary cloud provider.
Responsibilities
- Implement technical controls for SOC 2 Type II certification using Vanta's Workstreet Sprint.
- Develop infrastructure strategy, including migration to Azure or optimizing current services.
- Manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or Bicep for Azure services.
- Establish audit controls, including centralized logging and change management.
- Optimize costs across Azure, AWS, and GCP AI services.
- Build ML data pipelines for model training and evaluation.
- Manage LLM/AI services and ensure cost tracking and failover capabilities.
- Oversee CI/CD processes for two Nx monorepos, ensuring efficient build and deployment.
Requirements
- Strong experience with Azure and multi-cloud AI service routing.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or Bicep).
- Experience with SOC 2 Type II audits and implementing controls.
- Knowledge of ML dataset infrastructure and data collection pipelines.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for complex systems.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Cloudflare Workers, real-time voice/video infrastructure, and multi-cloud AI service management.
- Familiarity with Azure OpenAI Service.
