The Role

As an Installation Engineer at Joybuy, you will be responsible for the professional installation of various products, ensuring customer satisfaction and compliance with company standards.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer locations for the installation of home appliances, electronics, furniture, and specialized equipment.
• Unpack, assemble, configure, and connect products according to manufacturer guidelines and JD.com's service protocols.
• Conduct pre-installation checks to verify product integrity and site readiness.
• Test installed products to ensure functionality and proper operation.
• Provide customers with clear instructions on product usage, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Troubleshoot minor installation issues or escalate complex problems to support teams.
• Maintain accurate records of installations, including job completion times and product serial numbers.
• Adhere to safety regulations and best practices during installations.
• Ensure a clean work area at customer locations and dispose of packaging materials properly.
• Represent JD.com professionally and courteously at all times.

Requirements

• Electrician License required.
• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or technical certifications are a plus.
• Proven experience in product installation or assembly.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-centric approach.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and work in various physical positions.
• Familiarity with basic hand and power tools.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
