The Role

We are seeking a skilled Motion Designer to join our Marketing Design team and contribute to Sporty’s growth in both new and existing markets. In this role, you will create captivating motion-led content for our digital marketing channels and social media platforms.

The Role

You will work closely with marketing, performance, and brand teams to transform creative concepts into engaging motion content that effectively combines visual storytelling with performance goals. Reporting to the Marketing Design Lead and collaborating with Senior Marketing and Motion Designers, this position is perfect for someone who thrives on managing projects from inception to completion.

Responsibilities

  • Develop visually appealing motion content for digital marketing channels, including Google Ads, social media, and display advertising.
  • Collaborate with marketing and brand teams to understand briefs and deliver creative solutions that align with business objectives.
  • Manage the motion design process from concept through to final delivery, ensuring high-quality output and timely completion.
  • Contribute innovative ideas to enhance the quality and effectiveness of our motion design.
  • Stay informed about motion design trends, industry best practices, and new tools or technologies.
  • Work with data and analytics teams to integrate performance insights into creative decisions.
  • Assist in recruiting efforts by helping identify and hire top design talent as the team expands.

Requirements

  • A degree in Graphic Design, Motion Graphics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a motion design role, with a strong portfolio to showcase your work.
  • High proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
  • Experience in producing motion content for digital marketing and social media platforms.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience in cross-functional team environments.
  • Solid project management abilities, capable of prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A keen eye for design aesthetics and visual storytelling.
  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • A proactive and self-motivated mindset with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in performance-driven or data-informed marketing settings.
  • Experience mentoring or supporting junior designers.
  • Familiarity with various digital marketing formats and platform requirements.

Tech Stack / Role Specific Tools

  • Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator).
  • Experience with project management tools such as ClickUp, Asana, Monday.com, or Trello.
  • Knowledge of Bannerflow is desirable.
