The Role

A leading international ingredients company is looking for a Senior Commercial Manager to drive business growth across European markets. This role emphasizes expanding market presence, cultivating strategic customer relationships, and identifying new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will be a commercial expert adept at engaging with customers and collaborating with sales teams across various European locations.

The Role

You will be responsible for day-to-day activities that include:

  • Identifying and cultivating new business opportunities across European markets.
  • Building and managing a robust pipeline of new customers and projects.
  • Leading initiatives for strategic customer acquisition and enhancing market presence.
  • Developing long-term partnerships with key clients.
  • Collaborating closely with local sales teams across European sites to foster commercial growth.
  • Expanding relationships with key accounts and identifying opportunities within existing customers.
  • Contributing to the overall commercial performance and growth of the European business.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in B2B commercial roles within flavors, food ingredients, or related industries.
  • Strong track record in business development and strategic account management.
  • Experience working across multiple European markets.
  • Comfortable operating in a matrix organization.
  • Excellent negotiation, relationship-building, and communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel regularly across Europe.
