We are seeking an Architectural Designer and CAD Expert for a remote, hourly contract position. This role offers flexibility with a commitment of 10 to 40 hours per week, and compensation ranges from $19 to $65 per hour.

The Role

You will be responsible for executing full-cycle architectural design workflows, from concept modeling to detailed drawing sets. Your day-to-day tasks will include developing and refining 3D models while ensuring design integrity, managing digital files and documentation for efficient coordination, and producing accurate construction-ready documents.

Responsibilities

• Execute comprehensive architectural design workflows from concept to detailed drawings.
• Develop and enhance 3D models while preserving design integrity throughout all phases.
• Organize and manage digital files, layers, and documentation for effective coordination.
• Produce precise plans, sections, elevations, and construction-ready documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to convey workflows and technical decisions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex modeling and design issues.
• Document and articulate design processes to aid in AI training and workflow standardization.

Requirements

• Strong experience with Rhino3D and Vectorworks for architectural design projects.
• Expertise in file coordination, organization, and documentation management.
• In-depth understanding of technical workflows in architectural design and drafting.
• Ability to create detailed 3D models and convert concepts into construction documents.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to clearly articulate design intent.
• Strong problem-solving abilities for addressing complex design and workflow challenges.
• Capacity to work independently and collaborate effectively in a remote setting.
