About Trinamics

Since 2005, Trinamics has been active as a technical staffing agency. From our offices in Breda and Eindhoven, we recruit MBO, HBO, and WO technical talent worldwide and connect them with our clients. Technology can move mountains, but it’s the people behind it who ultimately make the real difference. That’s why Trinamics finds, develops, and matches tried & tested tech talent with companies globally and vice versa. As a tribe of professionals at the heart of technology, we always strive for the perfect match, enabling both our talent and clients to continuously develop and make tomorrow possible.

We are active in sectors such as Automotive, High Tech, Software/IT, Installation & Energy, Logistics/Supply Chain, Technical Sales, Food, Pharma & Life Sciences, Aerospace, Machine Building, Maritime, and (Petro)Chemicals. Every technical company needs the right professionals to stay ahead and lead the market. However, these professionals are scarce and hard to find in the current market. It may seem like technical talent has plenty of options, but appearances can be deceiving. How do you find the job and employer that suits you among all the options, especially if you are not yet familiar with the market?

With an open and honest way of working, Trinamics helps both companies and tech talent stay ahead. We are constantly working hard to match the right candidate with the right company. Technical talent that is well-placed is happier, stays longer, and makes a real impact at the company they work for—a win-win for both parties. Taking on Tomorrow!

The Role

In this role, you will lead the Manufacturing Engineering and QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety & Environment) teams, focusing on optimizing production processes, ensuring product quality and safety, driving innovation, and supporting the transition to a prototype factory. This position requires a seasoned leader who can scale teams, drive transformation, and motivate staff through periods of change, ultimately contributing to the creation of an efficient, flexible, and future-proof production environment.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a management role with direct leadership of Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering teams, including scaling the Industrial team from 2 to 4 FTE and guiding the downsizing of the Manufacturing team toward a prototype factory.
  • Demonstrated expertise in change management and a successful track record in a similar role, ideally within a prototype or high-tech manufacturing setting, including experience with remote work.
  • Strong people management skills with a motivating and coaching leadership style, adept at guiding teams through change and organizational development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manufacturing Engineering: Develop, optimize, and implement production processes to enhance quality, efficiency, and productivity. Lead equipment and technology management, including the integration of advanced tools and automation. Apply lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies. Collaborate with R&D, product development, production, and supply chain teams to ensure manufacturability, scalability, and optimal lead times.
  • QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety & Environment): Manage quality and ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements. Promote workplace safety and health through policies, training, and risk assessments. Lead initiatives for environmentally friendly and sustainable production processes. Prepare for and oversee audits and regulatory compliance.
  • Leadership and Team Development: Coach, develop, and motivate teams, fostering personal growth and future leaders. Drive continuous improvement and create a culture centered on quality, safety, and innovation. Translate strategic goals into measurable outcomes and operational KPIs.

Profile

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (MBA or Master’s in Engineering preferred).
  • 7–10 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, including leadership roles.
  • Certifications such as Six Sigma Green/Black Belt, CQE, or ISO 45001/OHSAS are advantageous.
  • Comfortable working in both office and factory environments; willing to travel occasionally.
