The Role

Atithi Indian Restaurants is a chain of casual fine-dining Indian restaurants that provide exceptional food, service, and ambiance across various cities in the Netherlands. In this role, you will work independently, supported by one or two part-time assistants, overseeing the daily operations of the kitchen.

The Role

As a Chef, you will be responsible for the technical supervision and preparation of dishes, managing stock, and ensuring compliance with operational standards. You will also contribute to menu composition and modifications, ensuring guest satisfaction through quality preparation.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and prepare dishes according to regulations (HACCP, safety, etc.) and work instructions (recipes).
  • Manage stock and orders to maintain sufficient inventory and ensure timely submissions, following the FIFO principle.
  • Perform cleaning and tidying activities in accordance with schedules and safety regulations.
  • Propose improvements and optimizations, ensuring accountability for consumption and uniform application of instructions.
  • Handle adverse circumstances, including physical demands and potential risks associated with kitchen work.

Requirements

  • Permanent residence in the EU/EEA/Switzerland.
  • MBO Level-3 in Horeca.
