The Role

In the role of Business Development Manager for Central and Eastern Europe at Procivis, you will be instrumental in fostering new business growth within the region and beyond. Your primary focus will be on enhancing our market presence by promoting our advanced digital identity and verifiable credentials solutions tailored for the public sector.

The Role

As a Business Development Manager, you will engage in various activities aimed at expanding our presence in the public sector across Central and Eastern Europe.

Responsibilities

  • Market Expansion: Formulate and execute strategies to grow Procivis' market presence in the public sector of Central and Eastern Europe.
  • Client Acquisition: Identify and secure new business opportunities, including participation in public tenders.
  • Solution Sales: Present and sell our digital identity and credentials solutions, tailoring proposals and delivering compelling presentations.
  • Tender Management: Oversee tenders in your region, leading the cross-functional bid team to define winning strategies aligned with leadership.
  • Partner Sales: Develop and sustain a robust partner network to leverage for consulting, implementation, and operation of our technology solutions.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful project delivery, customer satisfaction, and gather market feedback.

Requirements

  • Public Sector Sales Track Record: Minimum of 3 years of successful experience in selling complex software solutions to public sector entities (ministries, government agencies) within the EU, with a proven history of winning public tenders.
  • Sales Experience: At least 5 years in business development or sales within the software industry, focusing on new business.
  • IT Experience: Strong knowledge and experience in software solution sales, ideally with a software company, IT consultancy, or IT system integrator.
  • Domain Affinity: Understanding of the digital identity industry (digital identity, IAM, SSI, Verifiable Credentials) or related IT security is a significant advantage.
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's or master's degree.
  • Language Skills: Fluent in English (written and verbal) plus at least one additional European language.
