The Role

As a Production Manager, you will oversee the planning, coordination, and control of manufacturing processes. Your focus will be on ensuring efficient production, meeting deadlines, and maintaining budgetary standards while adhering to safety and quality regulations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily production operations to achieve output and quality goals.
• Develop and implement production schedules and workflows.
• Monitor production metrics and identify improvement opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
• Collaborate with maintenance, quality, and supply chain teams to address issues.
• Lead and motivate production staff to meet performance targets.
• Maintain accurate production records and generate management reports.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing principles.
• Manage inventory levels and coordinate with procurement for material availability.
• Train and develop team members to enhance skills and performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment, including 2+ years in a supervisory role.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of production planning, quality control, and safety standards.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and production management software.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Lean/Six Sigma certification is a plus.
