The Role
In this role, you will be responsible for designing, managing, and optimizing a complex network architecture within professional data center environments. Your tasks will include:

- Designing and enhancing network architectures
- Managing firewalls, switches, routing, and segmentation
- Optimizing performance and availability
- Implementing security measures (VPN, firewalling, segmentation)
- Monitoring and resolving network incidents
- Capacity planning and scalability
- Documentation and standardization
Additionally, you will actively participate in migrations, new client environments, and security improvement projects.
Requirements
- Minimum MBO 4 / HBO work and thinking level (ICT)
- Approximately 3 years of experience in network management
- Knowledge of Spanning Tree, VLAN, VXLAN, and IPSEC VPN
- Experience with Mikrotik, Cisco, and/or Fortinet
- Proficient in Dutch and English
- Experience in data center environments is a plus
- Interest in automation/AI within IT is a plus.
