The Role

You will join the Dutch Legal team at SThree, which consists of the General Counsel and another Legal Counsel. The team advises colleagues in the increasingly complex legal markets in which SThree operates, always focused on providing solutions and results.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice to the business in the Netherlands regarding commercial and employment contracts, as well as corporate law and disputes.
• Contribute to the organization’s goals by advising on commercial opportunities and risks.
• Daily tasks include:
  • Advising sales consultants on candidate placements with clients;
  • Drafting and reviewing contracts;
  • Negotiating commercial disputes;
  • Improving existing (national and international) business models;
  • Keeping teams informed about new laws and regulations;
  • Assisting in process improvements;
  • Training colleagues on new developments and regulations.

Requirements

• You are driven, entrepreneurial, and enjoy working with people.
• You have some experience (3-6 years) as a Legal Counsel.
• You are not afraid of challenges, can substantiate your advice well, and find it important to take responsibility.
• You possess a Master's degree in Dutch Law, ideally with a focus on labor, private, or contract law.
• You can prioritize well and work with deadlines and under pressure.
• You are persuasive and negotiate effectively, coming up with creative solutions.
• You are analytical and accurate; if needed, you will investigate matters thoroughly.
• You are proactive and believe in taking action without delay.
• You understand various interests and seek solutions that bring them together.
• You are resilient and not easily discouraged.
• You have excellent command of both Dutch and English, in both spoken and written forms.

Flexibility
