The Role

MCO Health BV, part of the Nestlé Group, is a prominent player in the nutritional supplements sector in the Netherlands, known for brands like Orthica and AOV. Our mission is to promote optimal human health through effective nutritional products, supported by a dedicated team of 120 employees in Almere who are passionate about nutrition and healthy living.

The Role

As a Regulatory Compliance Specialist, you will be part of the Application Group within our Supply Chain organization. This role involves managing the regulatory registration document flow from the Nestlé Almere packaging site, supporting licensing and product registrations for Nestlé Health Science across various export markets. You will establish efficient workflows and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate registration submissions.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and provide product registration documents, license renewals, and variation dossiers to receiving markets.
  • Coordinate with Regulatory teams, global project teams, and factory teams to compile regulatory documentation per market requirements.
  • Liaise with local authorities in the Netherlands to obtain necessary certificates (e.g., Free Sale Certificates, Veterinary/Health Certificates) for timely product registrations.
  • Compile registration dossiers ensuring accuracy and compliance with international regulatory standards.
  • Support the Quality team during factory audits and in relation to Halal/Kosher compliance.
  • Assist the Import/Export team with customs-related documents and ensure compliance with market-specific requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in Food Science, Pharmacy, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in a regulatory role within the food industry, pharmaceutical sector, or government authorities.
  • Applied knowledge of food safety, consumer information, nutrition, health, additives, and quality regulations.
  • Project management experience is a plus.
  • Innovative and proactive mindset.
  • Excellent command of both Dutch and English.

  • Salary range: €4200 to €5250 gross per month, depending on experience.
