The Role

As the Director of Business Development at Adlook, you will spearhead client acquisition and establish our innovative platform across the Netherlands. This role allows for an entrepreneurial approach to business development, fostering strong stakeholder relationships, and enhancing platform adoption in the region.

You will be instrumental in shaping the growth of our platform while promoting Adlook’s values and unique selling propositions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead client acquisition efforts for Adlook SMART DSP, our innovative self and assisted service platform.
  • Take an entrepreneurial approach to securing new business opportunities in the Netherlands.
  • Serve as the first point of contact in opening Adlook's SMART sector, collaborating with various teams to establish and grow this new business area.
  • Manage relationships with stakeholders at agencies and brands.
  • Drive cross-functional projects to meet client expectations.
  • Advocate for Adlook’s values and unique selling points within the regional team and among clients.
  • Lead RFI processes to secure new business opportunities.
  • Implement cross-selling strategies to enhance platform adoption across the region.

Requirements

  • Over 5 years of experience in adtech, preferably in a DSP, SSP, measurement, ad serving solutions, or data provision.
  • Proven experience in developing strategically grounded, insight-driven solutions.
  • Strong technical and commercial acumen.
  • Experience with complex tech solutions and problem-solving, ideally in a SaaS environment.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated success in driving account growth with large customer accounts.
  • Ability to build robust relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including the executive team and industry groups.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A strong desire for personal development and to support the growth of others.
  • Excellent influencing and negotiation skills.
  • Fluency in English is essential.
