The Role

In the role of NH90 Helicopter Mechanic, you will be crucial in maintaining mechanical and electrical systems of helicopters in line with Part 145 regulations. Your responsibilities include conducting entry tests upon the arrival of NH90 helicopters, as well as repairing, revising, modifying, testing, preparing, and adjusting helicopter systems and components. Collaborating with your team, you will ensure compliance with aviation standards and regulations. This position is based at Fokker Techniek in Woensdrecht, with potential temporary assignments outside the Netherlands or at our civil AMRO facility.

Requirements

  • MBO level (VMBO level 3/4 + job-oriented programs, e.g., VOM / VOT)
  • Familiarity with procedures, regulations, manuals, and technical documentation in Aerospace
  • Experience with helicopters, rotary wing, and/or military aircraft is advantageous
  • Proficient in reading and understanding technical English for manuals, drawings, and instructions
  • Possession of module 12 or willingness to obtain it if necessary
  • Skilled in disassembly and assembly with hand tools, adjusting aircraft systems, and operating measuring tools and specialized test equipment.
