The Role

The Global Logistics Manager will oversee international logistics operations, ensuring the efficient movement of goods, cost efficiency, and adherence to global trade regulations. This role demands strong leadership and expertise in cross-border logistics, along with the capability to manage vendors and teams in a remote setup.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage global logistics operations across multiple countries and regions.
• Develop and execute logistics strategies that align with business growth and operational objectives.
• Oversee international transportation (air, sea, road) and freight forwarding activities.
• Ensure customs clearance, import/export compliance, and manage trade documentation.
• Optimize logistics costs, delivery timelines, and service levels.
• Manage relationships with logistics providers, carriers, and third-party logistics partners.
• Monitor logistics KPIs, performance metrics, and service level agreements.
• Collaborate with supply chain, procurement, warehouse, and sales teams.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies for cross-border logistics operations.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8–12 years of experience in logistics or supply chain roles with global exposure.
• Proven experience in managing international and multi-country logistics operations.
• Strong knowledge of freight forwarding, customs regulations, and trade compliance.
• Experience with logistics systems, ERP, and transportation management tools.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and vendor management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote, cross-time-zone environment.
• Fluency in English is required; proficiency in additional languages is a significant advantage.
