The Role

We are seeking a Facilities Technical & Emergency Response Administrator to ensure operational continuity at our pharmaceutical site. This role focuses on managing critical communication systems, emergency response tools, and essential technical infrastructure, including site access systems, energy monitoring solutions, and audio-visual equipment. You will play a vital role in maintaining the functionality, security, and compliance of these systems while providing prompt support during emergencies and daily operations.

The Role

You will be responsible for the following key functions:

Responsibilities

  • Emergency Response & Communication Systems: Operate, monitor, and maintain Mobile Radios for the on-site Emergency Response Team. Administer the emergency response software Multibel, including user administration, scenario configuration, alert routing, system testing, and documentation. Support emergency drills in coordination with security, EHS, and facilities teams.
  • Audio Visual & Meeting Room Support: Maintain all AV systems in conference and meeting rooms. Provide first-line support for projectors, displays, conferencing solutions, microphones, and room control systems. Coordinate with vendors for escalations, repairs, and upgrades, ensuring meeting room technology is user-friendly and up-to-date.
  • Site Access & Security Systems (Lenel): Administer the Lenel Site Access Control System, including badge creation, permissions configuration, and user lifecycle management. Troubleshoot door controllers and access-related issues while collaborating with Security and IT for system updates and compliance. Maintain access logs and support audit requirements.
  • Energy Monitoring System (GridVis – EMS): Oversee the technical management of the GridVis Energy Monitoring System, ensuring accurate energy data capture. Perform system checks, data validation, alarm monitoring, and report generation, while coordinating with engineering teams for energy optimization and regulatory reporting.
  • Administration of Local Software Tools: Perform routine administrative tasks on various facility-related software tools, maintaining user accounts, system configurations, and supporting digitalization initiatives within Facilities Management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a technical discipline.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in the digital space.
  • Diploma or bachelor’s degree in engineering, Facilities Management, IT/Technical Systems, or a relevant field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in technical operations, facility systems, or emergency response tools.
  • Experience with mobile radio systems, Lenel Access Control, GridVis (EMS) or similar energy monitoring systems, and audio-visual systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and hands-on technical aptitude.
  • Ability to work on-site in a regulated pharma environment.
  • Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English (written and oral).
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks with competing priorities.

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of GxP, cGMP, and pharma compliance requirements.
  • Experience with emergency management tools such as Multibel.
  • Vendor coordination and project management experience.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
  • Resilience when faced with challenges and a belief in continuous learning and growth.
