We are seeking an AI Software Engineer to join our rapidly-growing cybersecurity startup focused on developing autonomous agents that identify and remediate cloud vulnerabilities at an enterprise scale. This role is fully remote within Europe and offers a competitive salary along with equity opportunities.

The Role

In this position, you will focus on productionizing AI systems that operate effectively in real-world scenarios, handling large volumes of data and addressing complex challenges.

Responsibilities

• Design and scale LLM-powered agents for live cloud environments.
• Architect backend systems to facilitate agent orchestration, evaluation, and reliability.
• Build production-grade services that integrate AI components with deterministic systems.
• Enhance the reliability, observability, and cost-efficiency of AI systems.
• Optimize performance for distributed workloads.
• Develop customer-facing remediation tools.
• Expand into Application Security, including static analysis and software vulnerabilities.
• Work in a high-ownership, greenfield environment.

Requirements

• Strong software engineering background with expertise in Python.
• Experience in building and deploying LLMs or AI-agent systems in production.
• In-depth knowledge of distributed systems and scalability trade-offs.
• Advanced AWS skills.
• Proven ability to navigate ambiguity and build from first principles.

Nice to Have

• Experience in big tech or rapidly scaling startups handling large data volumes.
• Founding engineer experience.
• Domain expertise in AI and/or Cyber Security, particularly in vulnerability management.
• Familiarity with agent frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex, DSPy).
• Knowledge of evaluation frameworks, tracing, and observability for LLM systems.
• Experience scaling systems under real load.
