The Role

We are seeking a dynamic Legal Counsel with 3-6 years of experience to join our legal team in the BeNeLux and Nordics region, focusing on commercial matters. In this role, you will engage in commercial activities, contract reviews, negotiations, and support commercial projects for one of the world's leading tech service providers.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with sales and operations on all commercial-related matters and negotiations.
• Support the legal department, including process implementation and supervision.
• Manage and coordinate complex legal and transactional matters.
• Provide legal advice for bids, deals, and projects.
• Review, draft, and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts, ensuring alignment with Group guidelines.
• Offer expert legal advice to the business.
• Advise on contract reviews and approval processes.
• Participate in Group Legal Department activities and projects.

Requirements

• Qualified legal counsel with hands-on experience from a top commercial law firm or in-house legal function, preferably in IT or tech services.
• Experience in drafting, negotiating, and advising on commercial contracts (customer, outsourcing, consulting, licensing, hosting, GDPR, etc.).
• Ability to operate independently and build collaborative relationships.
• Strong understanding of business operations and legal implications.
• Excellent judgment, analytical skills, and professional ethics.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Law degree, LL.M., or equivalent qualifications.
• Familiarity with Legal Tech and AI solutions.
• Previous experience in the IT or technology sector or comparable industry.
• Enthusiastic, motivated, flexible, and proactive in problem-solving.
• Good team spirit.

The position is primarily based in our Amstelveen office, with limited travel expected. We offer a hybrid working model that promotes a good work/life balance, with English as the working language.
