The Role

You will be responsible for welcoming guests, taking orders, serving food, and ensuring a smooth flow of service. Your role involves effective communication with the kitchen and bar, problem-solving during busy times, and maintaining a clean and organized station.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests energetically and make them feel at ease.
  • Take orders and serve dishes while confidently sharing menu recommendations.
  • Anticipate needs to keep the service floor running smoothly.
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen and bar staff to ensure perfect order delivery.
  • Address questions and requests with friendly problem-solving.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of your station.
  • Support team members during peak times to foster a collaborative environment.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in restaurant or hospitality, or a strong eagerness to learn.
  • Excellent communication skills and a passion for connecting with people.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks calmly and efficiently.
  • Proficiency in English and Dutch; additional languages are advantageous.
  • A commitment to maintaining a clean and professional appearance.
  • A positive attitude and a desire to be part of a supportive team.
