We are looking for skilled professionals with extensive experience in LibreCAD who can manage complete 2D CAD drafting projects, from initial concepts to export-ready technical drawings.

The Role

You will lead comprehensive 2D drafting projects in LibreCAD, showcasing your entire workflow, including geometry creation, snap and constraint usage, and organizational strategies. You will set up drawing units, layers, and manage blocks to ensure clarity and consistency in projects. Your responsibilities will also include applying technical dimensioning, annotation, and detailing according to manufacturing or CNC specifications, as well as preparing and exporting files in formats like DXF for downstream manufacturing or CAM processes. Additionally, you will communicate your decision-making processes to support AI learning models and collaborate closely with the client's team, providing insights into professional 2D CAD workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead 2D drafting projects in LibreCAD from concept to final technical drawing exports.
• Showcase and explain your complete workflow, including geometry creation and organizational strategies.
• Set up drawing units, layers, and manage blocks for clarity and consistency.
• Apply technical dimensioning, annotation, and detailing per manufacturing or CNC requirements.
• Prepare and export files in formats such as DXF for manufacturing or CAM workflows.
• Communicate your drafting choices and reasoning to aid AI development.
• Collaborate with the client's team, offering insights into professional 2D CAD workflows.

Requirements

• Expert-level, hands-on experience in LibreCAD for 2D technical drafting.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and familiarity with standard 2D CAD workflows.
• Deep understanding of Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAM) concepts.
• Proven ability to manage end-to-end drafting projects using LibreCAD.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, especially in complex drafting logic.
• Proficiency in organizing, annotating, and exporting technical drawings for manufacturing.
• Attention to detail and a passion for drafting best practices.

Nice to Have

• Experience in teaching, training, or mentoring in CAD or CAM fields.
