We are currently looking for an experienced and proactive Lead Project Manager for a fast-growing software company to oversee complex software initiatives and ensure successful delivery across distributed teams. This is a full-time remote position available to candidates within the EMEA region.

The Role

As a Lead Project Manager, you will be responsible for the complete delivery of multiple software projects, from planning and execution to stakeholder alignment and continuous improvement. You will lead and mentor project management teams while collaborating closely with engineering, product, and design teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with strategic business goals. This role is perfect for a senior project leader who possesses strong organizational skills, technical knowledge, and leadership abilities in a fast-paced remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and supervise project managers to ensure consistent delivery standards.
• Manage multiple software projects across distributed teams and time zones.
• Define project scope, timelines, budgets, and success metrics in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation plans for smooth execution.
• Serve as the main communication point between leadership, technical teams, and external stakeholders.
• Ensure projects adhere to Agile or hybrid delivery methodologies based on requirements.
• Monitor project performance and conduct regular reviews to foster continuous improvement.
• Promote collaboration, accountability, and a high-performance culture across teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• 7–10 years of project management experience, including leadership or senior PM roles within the software industry.
• Proven experience in delivering complex software or digital transformation projects.
• Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities.
• Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a plus.
• PMP or similar project management certifications are advantageous.
