The Role

Atithi Indian Restaurants is a chain of casual fine-dining Indian restaurants providing exceptional food, service, and ambiance across various cities in the Netherlands. In this role, you will operate independently, supported by one or two part-time assistants, overseeing the daily operations of the kitchen.

The Role

You will be responsible for the technical supervision and preparation of dishes while ensuring operational standards are met, including stock management and supplier coordination. Your input will be vital in menu composition and modifications.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and prepare dishes following regulations (HACCP, safety, etc.) and work instructions (recipes).
  • Ensure kitchen processes are efficient and maintain high-quality preparation for guest satisfaction.
  • Manage stock and orders, ensuring sufficient inventory and timely submissions while adhering to the FIFO principle.
  • Conduct cleaning and tidying activities according to planning and safety regulations.
  • Propose and implement improvements, ensuring accountability for consumption and uniform application of instructions.
  • Handle adverse conditions, including physical demands and potential risks associated with kitchen work.

Requirements

  • Permanent residence in EU/EEA/Switzerland.
  • MBO Level-3 in Horeca.
