The Role

In the role of Junior HR/Talent Management Officer, you will be instrumental in enhancing the employee experience within our expanding organization. At Compliance Champs, our HR department is referred to as Talent Management, where your focus will be on both the strategic development of our workforce and the operational processes that support our team.

The Role

You will engage in various activities aimed at fostering a positive work environment and supporting employee growth.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain talent management policies and processes that align with company objectives, legal requirements, and employee needs.
  • Establish a robust coaching framework to assist managers and employees in performance management, development, and career advancement.
  • Enhance and optimize the internal function house, ensuring clear roles, responsibilities, and career progression.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for employees regarding HR and Talent Management inquiries.
  • Support the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance evaluations, training, development, and offboarding.
  • Monitor employee well-being, absenteeism, and workplace health & safety, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
  • Maintain accurate talent management records, including personnel files, contracts, and HR systems.
  • Stay informed about labor law changes, HR trends, and best practices, translating these into actionable improvements.
  • Anticipate talent needs to support business growth and propose scalable solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, or a related field.
  • 0-2 years of experience in a talent management or general HR role.
  • Basic knowledge of Dutch labor law or a willingness to learn.
  • Fluency in Dutch and proficiency in English.
  • Hands-on, proactive, and process-oriented mindset with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment while contributing to long-term talent strategies.

You will be expected to work 3 or 4 days a week and must reside and work in the Netherlands without visa support from the company. We anticipate you will be in the office at least twice a week.
