The Role

We are seeking a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design and build reliable cloud-native infrastructure components within a collaborative team. Ideal candidates will have a passion for infrastructure automation and a proven track record in automated deployment at scale.

Responsibilities

• Deliver core infrastructure relied upon by Develocity engineering teams.
• Maintain and enhance our Kubernetes-based application platform.
• Collaborate with the SRE team to ensure reliable production operations.
• Work with the DevProd team to establish robust continuous delivery practices.
• Partner with the Security team to implement secure infrastructure.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in cloud infrastructure.
• Proficiency with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Experience in building infrastructure automation using Terraform.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems.
• Experience with infrastructure as code and automated application deployment.
• Working proficiency in written and verbal English.

Nice to Have

• Experience in designing and developing Kubernetes-based application platforms.
• Familiarity with GitOps practices and tools for infrastructure automation.
• Knowledge of industry best practices regarding infrastructure security.
• Strong problem-solving skills and effective communication abilities.
• Interest in learning new software development skills and techniques.
