In the role of Occupational Health & Safety Manager, you will be instrumental in shaping and implementing the safety framework within the organization. You will take charge of developing and executing the Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) strategy, ensuring it is effectively integrated into daily operations and plays a vital role in fostering safe growth in a high-risk, regulated environment.

The Role

As SkyNRG expands its first SEVESO-classified major hazard installation, the importance of safety becomes paramount. We are seeking an Occupational Health & Safety Manager to define and implement our corporate OH&S approach across projects and operations. This role requires you to establish a robust and future-proof OH&S framework applicable across all capital projects and production sites.

Responsibilities

• Develop and continuously enhance SkyNRG’s Occupational Health & Safety Management System.
• Define and implement corporate OH&S standards for operations and capital projects.
• Translate evolving laws and regulations into actionable policies, procedures, and guidance.
• Design and execute training programs, audit protocols, and investigation methodologies.
• Support and guide sites and projects in fulfilling OH&S requirements.
• Lead or assist in incident investigations, particularly for significant cases.
• Identify emerging risks and develop data-driven mitigation strategies.
• Foster and promote a strong safety culture throughout the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., HSE, Chemical, Oil & Gas).
• Strong knowledge of HSE management systems and Occupational Health & Safety regulations.
• Experience in major hazard environments (e.g., SEVESO / ARIE).
• Ability to translate regulatory frameworks into practical, scalable standards.
• Structured and systems-thinking mindset with a hands-on approach to building from the ground up.

Nice to Have

• MoSHE, HVK, or equivalent certification.

You possess strong technical expertise paired with excellent interpersonal skills, enabling you to influence stakeholders at various organizational levels. Your ability to communicate clearly and make informed decisions based on risk and data is essential, along with a pragmatic approach to achieving results in a fast-evolving environment.
