The Role

We are seeking a passionate Production Lead to enhance, plan, and optimize our internal processes within a vibrant organization. Our clients, including pharmaceutical companies, hospitals, and laboratories, depend on our ready-to-use media for their research, and you will be instrumental in ensuring our production operates efficiently, safely, and meets the highest quality standards.

The Role
As a Production Lead, you will oversee daily production planning and resource management, ensuring optimal team deployment and compliance with quality standards while maintaining a safe working environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop daily and weekly production schedules.
- Allocate staff based on capacity, availability, and skill sets.
- Plan efficient use of production lines and manage inventory of raw and production materials.
- Adjust plans in response to absences, malfunctions, or urgent orders.
- Directly manage operators and team leaders, organizing daily tasks and ensuring timely execution of production orders.
- Serve as the first point of contact for technical issues and coordinate rapid resolutions with suppliers and technical staff.
- Monitor compliance with SOPs, hygiene, and cleanroom regulations, performing quality checks and addressing deviations.
- Maintain production data, downtime, scrap, and output records, ensuring accurate batch documentation.
- Prepare for internal and external audits and support during inspections.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and maintain workplace cleanliness and order.
- Train new employees and identify training needs.
- Supervise the maintenance and commissioning of production tools and support SAP implementation.
Requirements
- MBO+/HBO level in process engineering, technology, or IT.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a production environment, preferably in regulated settings (cleanroom: medical, pharmaceutical, food).
- Proven experience in managing production teams.
- Interest in technology and IT, with experience in SAP and/or other production software tools.
