The Role
A leading tech-focused market maker with impressive achievements in high-frequency trading is looking for a creative problem-solver to join their team as an Application Engineer in Enterprise Technology. You will collaborate closely with business operations teams, focusing on the systems and applications that enhance user performance. As the main point of contact, your role will involve establishing, automating, integrating, and building comprehensive solutions from scratch to meet business needs, thereby supporting the firm's ambitious objectives.
Requirements
- Strong engineering background in technical application usage and troubleshooting
- Python experience preferred, but proficiency in similar languages will be considered
- Familiarity with applications like JIRA, Confluence, Workday, Greenhouse, and similar tools
- A strong desire to automate tasks to reduce redundancy
- Eagerness to learn about trading; prior experience is not required
