The Role
As a 3rd Engineer (Deck), you will oversee the operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment related to lay deck operations during your shift, under the guidance of the senior shift officer. You will also assist with engine room activities as needed. All personnel are expected to foster a positive HSEQ culture within Subsea7, adhering to local HSEQ codes and practices. Additionally, you will promote a culture of ethics and integrity, ensuring compliance with our Code of Conduct.
We are looking for candidates who are eager to understand our operational environment and support the effective delivery of offshore projects, while building strong, trusting relationships with stakeholders. A commitment to personal development and the ability to adapt and deliver results is essential.
Requirements
- Relevant academic qualifications or completion of an appropriate apprenticeship compliant with STCW Code III/1.
- Valid Seafarer Medical Fitness certificate or equivalent.
- Offshore Survival certificate suitable for the geographical area of work.
