The Role

We are seeking a skilled Game Developer with expertise in frameworks to join our remote team. This role offers flexible hours and the opportunity to work on innovative projects in game development.

The Role

You will be responsible for designing, building, and optimizing game scenarios using frameworks such as MonoGame, libGDX, and Cocos2d-x. You will collaborate with AI researchers to create environments for training advanced AI agents and translate gameplay requirements into scalable code components.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and optimize game scenarios using MonoGame, libGDX, and/or Cocos2d-x frameworks.
  • Collaborate with AI researchers to develop environments for training advanced AI agents.
  • Translate gameplay requirements into scalable and reusable code components.
  • Debug, test, and enhance existing codebases for performance and quality.
  • Document technical designs and workflows to support team knowledge sharing.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on best practices for game frameworks.
  • Communicate progress, challenges, and insights effectively with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

  • Strong experience developing games with MonoGame, libGDX, or Cocos2d-x.
  • Proficiency in C#, C++, and Java programming languages.
  • Solid understanding of game architecture, optimization techniques, and cross-platform development.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills for complex systems.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote, distributed team environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Interest in applying game development expertise to AI model training and research.
