The Role
Salary: circa €80-150k
A leading tech-driven market-maker with impressive achievements in high frequency trading is looking for a creative problem-solver to join their team as an Application Engineer within Enterprise Technology. In this role, you will collaborate closely with business operations teams, focusing on the systems and applications that enable optimal user performance. As the main point of contact, you will be crucial in establishing, automating, integrating, and developing end-to-end solutions from the ground up to meet business operational needs, helping the firm achieve its ambitious objectives.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business operations teams to enhance system performance.
- Design and implement end-to-end solutions based on operational requirements.
- Automate processes to reduce repetitive tasks and improve efficiency.
- Serve as the primary contact for application-related inquiries.
Requirements
- Strong engineering background in technical application usage and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in Python is preferred, but experience in similar programming languages will be considered.
- Familiarity with applications such as JIRA, Confluence, Workday, Greenhouse, and similar tools.
- Enthusiasm for automating tasks to streamline workflows.
- Openness to learning about trading; prior experience is not necessary.
