The Role

Je gaat werken bij een internationaal specialistisch metaalbedrijf dat hoogwaardige metalen bewerkt voor toepassingen zoals medische apparatuur, NASA en Formule 1-auto's. De organisatie heeft een informele en persoonlijke sfeer, waarbij iedereen elkaar kent, van kantoor tot fabriek. Ze zijn gericht op de ontwikkeling van medewerkers en het verbeteren van vaardigheden.
In deze functie begin je op de inpakafdeling, waar je houten bekistingen maakt om producten te beschermen tijdens transport. Elke bekisting is maatwerk, wat zorgt voor variatie in je werk. Na het inpakken leer je de werking van metaalbewerkingsmachines, stap voor stap, met focus op kostbare materialen. Je krijgt ook uitleg over het kwaliteitsproces, waarbij je monsters analyseert en rapportages opstelt over materiaalsamenstelling, hardheid, en puurheid.
