The Role
Eaton Industries (Netherlands) BV is looking for a skilled CNC Turner/Miller based in Hengelo, Netherlands. If you are precise, enjoy working independently, and thrive in a two-shift production process, we want to hear from you!
The Role
As a CNC Turner/Miller, you will be responsible for executing production orders accurately and on time. You will work on both single pieces and small to large series with high dimensional accuracy (up to 0.005 mm).
Responsibilities
- Receive and assess work orders (drawings, work folders, and CNC programs).
- Load, set up, and operate conventional and CNC turning and milling machines.
- Assemble and disassemble tools.
- Program and, if necessary, adjust or rewrite CNC programs.
- Work with a 7-axis control and synchronize two spindles and two turrets.
- Independently inspect products based on technical drawings.
- Troubleshoot minor issues and perform (preventive) machine maintenance.
- Identify tool wear and, if possible, replace tools.
- Create fixtures as needed for task execution.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a CNC Turner/Miller (both conventional and CNC).
- Knowledge of machining techniques, materials, cutting speeds, and feeds.
- Experience with measuring tools, cutting tools (HSS and carbide), and tool geometry.
- Ability to adjust and/or write CNC programs at the machine; all machines are equipped with Fanuc controls.
- Technical insight and ability to read drawings.
- Proficient with PC and control software.
- Reading skills in German and/or English (machine instructions).
- A precise, responsible, and collegial work attitude.
