The Role

We are seeking a skilled LibreCAD Expert for a contract position that allows you to work remotely. This role requires a commitment of 10-40 hours per week and offers competitive compensation ranging from $20 to $120 per hour.

The Role

You will lead comprehensive 2D drafting projects in LibreCAD, guiding them from initial concept to export-ready technical drawings. Your responsibilities will include demonstrating complete drafting workflows, configuring drawing units, managing layers, and applying accurate dimensioning and annotation to meet manufacturing or CNC requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Lead 2D drafting projects in LibreCAD from concept to final drawings.
  • Demonstrate complete drafting workflows, including geometry creation, snaps, constraints, and layer organization.
  • Configure drawing units and manage layers and blocks for clarity.
  • Apply precise dimensioning, annotation, and detailing in line with manufacturing requirements.
  • Prepare and export files (e.g., DXF) for CAM and manufacturing processes.
  • Communicate drafting decisions and reasoning to support AI training initiatives.
  • Collaborate with teams, providing structured insights into 2D CAD best practices.

Requirements

  • Expert-level experience with LibreCAD in professional 2D drafting projects.
  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and standard 2D CAD workflows.
  • Solid understanding of Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAM) concepts.
  • Proven ability to manage complete drafting projects independently.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to precision and quality.
