The Role

As an Aircraft Engine Mechanic, your initial responsibilities will be in the engine shop, where you will perform maintenance tasks, including QEC (Quick Engine Change kit), cleaning and re-coating fan blades, as well as coating and polishing pins.

Responsibilities

• Reconfiguring, modifying, and repairing aircraft engines and engine components
• Working on various aircraft engines such as CFM56-7B, CF34-8/-10, PW1900, and APS2300/2600 APU
• Preparing engines and auxiliary power units (APUs) for shipment
• Assessing and repairing internal damage, making modifications on aircraft and in the shops
• Supporting Aircraft Maintenance in the hangar and other shops as required

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience with aircraft engines
• Completed education in aircraft or automotive technology at bbo level 3 or 4
• Proficiency in both Dutch and English, spoken and written
