The Role

As a System Integration Engineer, you will design and develop material flow concepts and system architectures for conveyor systems, sorters, and scanners. You will manage and coordinate the interfaces between IT systems and control components, supporting projects from the concept phase to system testing and customer acceptance. Your responsibilities will also include performing simulations, emulations, and performance analyses to ensure the efficiency and reliability of our solutions. Additionally, you will document system designs and interfaces and define customer acceptance tests to ensure high-quality, future-proof installations.

Requirements

• A degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Automation, Mechatronics, or a related field
• Several years of experience in system integration, automation, or PLC programming is advantageous
• Familiarity with IT/OT integration and interface management
• Knowledge of PLC systems (e.g., Siemens S7-1500) and industrial communication protocols
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, capable of working across multiple disciplines
• Excellent communication skills and proficiency in English
• A high level of commitment, responsibility, and attention to detail
