De functie van 2e Stuurman omvat het beheer van navigatie- en dekactiviteiten tijdens jouw wacht. Je bent verantwoordelijk voor de veilige en efficiënte besturing van het schip, in overeenstemming met de regelgeving en onze hoge veiligheidsnormen. In samenwerking met je team doe je waardevolle ervaring op met internationaal opererende schepen en ontwikkel je je vakmanschap en leiderschapsvaardigheden verder.
Jouw Impact
Als 2e Stuurman draag je bij aan veilige en efficiënte offshore-operaties door continu het overzicht te behouden en operationele problemen op te lossen. Door nauwkeurige administratie, inspecties en heldere communicatie zorg je ervoor dat werkzaamheden voldoen aan de geldende wet- en regelgeving. Jouw verantwoordelijkheden omvatten:
- Het beheren van navigatiewachttaken en brugadministratie.
- Proactieve risico-identificatie en routebewaking.
- Bedienen van missieapparatuur.
- Toezicht houden op operationele activiteiten en ervoor zorgen dat taken veilig en volgens plan worden uitgevoerd.
- Ondersteunen van de ontwikkeling van minder ervaren dekbemanningsleden.
