As a 2nd Officer and DPO, you will play a vital role in the safe and efficient operation of our installation vessels. You will assist the Chief Officer with navigation and take charge of safety-related tasks on board. Your contributions will enhance production, ensure continuity, and drive operational improvements. Collaborating closely with the Master, Chief Officer, and crew, you will ensure the vessel is always prepared for operations while sharing your expertise with colleagues and trainees.

Responsibilities:

• Support the Chief Officer with navigational duties and act as Safety Officer.
• Ensure safe and environmentally responsible vessel operations.
• Monitor production and vessel continuity, contributing to improvements.
• Collaborate with the Master and Chief Officer to enhance production methods.
• Train and coach 3rd Officers and trainees while maintaining ship administration.

About You:

You are a practical professional who remains focused in a dynamic operational environment. You communicate effectively, work collaboratively, and take responsibility for safety. You are eager to share your knowledge and support others.

Additionally, you possess:

• A maritime education at intermediate or higher level and/or relevant experience as an officer of the navigational watch.
• DPO certificates that qualify you for the role.
• The necessary STCW certificates and a willingness to complete Van Oord training.
• Professional proficiency in English.
