Als 2e Stuurman ben je verantwoordelijk voor het beheren van de navigatie- en dekactiviteiten tijdens je wacht. Je zorgt voor een veilige en efficiënte besturing van het schip, in overeenstemming met het reisplan, maritieme regelgeving en hoge veiligheidsnormen. In samenwerking met je team doe je waardevolle ervaring op met internationaal opererende schepen, terwijl je je vakmanschap en leiderschapsvaardigheden verder ontwikkelt.
Jouw Impact
Als 2e Stuurman draag je bij aan veilige en efficiënte baggeroperaties door continu het overzicht te behouden en operationele vraagstukken tijdig op te lossen. Door nauwkeurige administratie, inspecties en heldere communicatie zorg je ervoor dat werkzaamheden worden uitgevoerd volgens de geldende wet- en regelgeving. Je verantwoordelijkheden zijn onder meer:
- Het beheren van navigatiewachttaken en brugadministratie;
- Gerichte proactieve risico-identificatie en routebewaking;
- Bedienen van de missieapparatuur;
- Toezicht houden op operationele activiteiten en ervoor zorgen dat taken veilig en volgens plan worden uitgevoerd;
- Het ondersteunen van de ontwikkeling van minder ervaren dekbemanningsleden.
